Wanna One's Kang Daniel Treats Mom on Shopping Trip

The 'Master Key' star reportedly bought his mother a bouquet of flowers and a Gucci bag during their shopping trip in Busan.
Kang Daniel's mom has been his biggest supporter throughout his career and he recently returned the favor with a sweet, simple act. The Wanna One member was spotted taking his mom on a shopping trip in Busan, his hometown, amid his busy schedule.

In several pictures and videos taken by fans, the former "Produce 101" contestant was seen walking side by side with an elderly woman, who is presumed to be his mother, at a shopping center. The two appeared to have a little conversation and were smiling while they were on an escalator.

Daniel reportedly bought his mom a bouquet of pink flowers, which she carried at one point during their trip. The 20-year-old star also bought her a bag at Gucci shop. And even sweeter than that, he carried the shopping bag for her.

Daniel opted for a formal outfit during the outing, wearing a white shirt and a tie under a dark suit and matching pants. Some bodyguards and a photographer were seen following them, though they tried to keep their distance from the singer when fans didn't get too close to him.

Fans have been amazed by Daniel's sweet gesture to his mother. One of them commented on the video taken during the shopping trip, "A beautiful moment is shopping mom and son together. Daniel's mom is biggest fan of his in the world."

Daniel debuted as a member of Wanna One on August 7 after ranking 1st during the final broadcast of "Produce 101" season 2. He's given the center position of Wanna One. The group released their debut album "1×1=1 (To Be One)" on August 8 with the song "Energetic". They will continue promoting as a group until December 31, 2018 under YMC Entertainment and CJ E&M.

Daniel has also been a permanent member of SBS' variety show "Master Key" with his groupmate Ong Seong Wu. An upcoming episode of the show will reunite Daniel and Seong Wu with Jeong Sewoon, a fellow former "Produce 101" trainee who is now promoting as a solo artist.
