Watch Kanye West Join Kid Cudi at Chicago Show for First Performance Since Hospitalization

The 'Gold Digger' rapper surprises concertgoers when he shows up onstage to perform 'Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1' alongside Cudi.
Kanye West made a surprise appearance at Kid Cudi's concert in Chicago on November 4, marking his first performance since his hospitalization last year. The duo performed their collaborative track "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1" off West's recent album "The Life of Pablo".

The crowd couldn't contain their excitement once they saw West showing up from backstage, cheering very loudly. The "Gold Digger" rapper took in the overwhelmingly positive reaction as he smiled throughout the performance. "I'd be worried if the said nothin'/ Remind me where I know you from?/ She looking like she owe you some/ You know just what we want/ I wanna wake up with you in beautiful morning," he spitted his lines while smiling.

The performance marks West's first performance since he canceled the remainder of his "Saint Pablo" tour following his meltdown at Sacramento show back in November 2016. He slammed Beyonce Knowles and her husband Jay-Z as well as Hillary Clinton at the concert.

"This 'Saint Pablo' tour is the most relevant [thing] happening. If your old a** keeps following old models, you'll be Hillary Clinton," West said at the time. "It's a new world, Hillary Clinton. It's a new world. Feelings matter. Because guess what? Everybody in middle America felt a way and they showed you how they felt.. It's a new world, Barack. It's a new world, Jay-Z."

"Right now, press, get ready to write your passive aggressive, LeBron James racist comments, season 4, racist comments. Get ready to have a field day press! Get ready! Get ready, the show is over!" he continued before dropping the mic, ending his show early. Fans were disappointed at that time, remarking that they couldn't believe that West ended the show that way.

West was hospitalized the following day due to exhaustion. He was released from the hospital on November 29, 2016 after it had been determined that he had stabilized.
