AceShowbiz - Super Junior is finally back after two years. Two hours after releasing a teaser for music video of ballad track "One More Chance", the popular South Korean boyband unveiled the clip on October 30. It marks the start of Super Junior's long-awaited comeback.
The aesthetic clip finds the boys chasing their lovers at different places while showing off their beautiful vocals. "Don't leave like the rain/ I'm drenched like this again today/ I seek for you among the wet traces," they sing. "Will I be able to erase it? If I could do it just one more time/ Just one more chance, so I can see/ So I can see."
"One More Chance", which is written by member Lee Donghae, will be included in the group's 8th album "Play". The upcoming effort is set to be released on November 6 and features seven members of the group. They are Donghae, Kim Heechul, Leeteuk, Shindong, Yesung, Choi Siwon and Eunhyuk. Other members like Ryeowook and Kyuhyun are sitting out as the two of them are currently fulfilling their mandatory service in South Korea's military.
Following the release of the music video, Super Junior's label Label SJ has stated that Siwon would not be participating in the group's eighth album promotional activities. It has been reported that the decision comes amid a recent controversy involving his family dog.
"Choi Siwon will regrettably not be participating in Super Junior's broadcast promotions when they make a comeback on November 6 with their eight full album 'Play'," a representative said. "We sincerely apologize to fans and also ask for their support towards Super Junior."
Siwon's family dog caused the death of a neighbor. The "Oh! My Lady" actor took to Twitter on October 21 to express his condolences and apologize to the victim's family. "This is Choi Siwon. Once again, I bow my head in apology toward the family of the deceased, who must be suffering from the great shock and sorrow of losing a loved one," he said. "I feel deeply apologetic after hearing about the situation regarding our family's dog. I offer my most sincere condolences toward the family of the deceased."
