After teasing fans with a series of previews over the past weekend, GFriend's Yuju and IZ's Jihoo finally unveiled the music video for "Heart Signal" on October 27. The colorful video finds the duo gushing over each other.

In one of the scenes, Jihoo is seen sitting on his bed as he writes a love letter to the popular girl group member. "How come I only met you just now/ I feel in love with you like magic/ The whole world brightens when you smile," he sings. The three-minute clip, which features the rest of IZ members, ends with the group performing a song to Yuju, who looks happy.

Fans soon commented on the music video, saying that Yuju looked so angelic. A fan wrote, "Every day my love for Yuju grows, and this song and [music video] makes my heart flutter so much." Another fan wrote, "The song was beautiful I'm crying, and Yuju is so gorgeous and Jihoo is so handsome."

The official description of the video reads, "This project describes the excitement of love and feelings of new couples and explains the situation of holding hands for the first time from both point of view of man and woman. It is expected that Chunji and Eunha will catch the ears and win the hearts of many couples in this autumn with their expressions of pure emotions as if they are college sweethearts."

Yuju is the second GFriend member that has released a collaboration with a male artist. Her groupmate Eunha unveiled a collaborative track entitled "Hold Your Hand" with Teen Top's Chunji on October 26.

The collaborations aside, GFriend just made a comeback in September with their summer track "Summer Rain". The song was a refreshing ballad that everyone wanted to hear on a rainy day. A song critic commented that the song managed to showcase the group's angelic vocal along with occasional rain effects.
