AceShowbiz - Leeteuk does have a great sense of humor. The Super Junior leader has been filming for EBS' show "The Best Cooking Secrets" where he sported a brown wig to hide his newly-dyed pink hair. Fans soon took to social media to comment on his awkward look.
"LOLOL I'm sorry but he looks really funny," one wrote. "That hair... I'm dying," another commented. One other viewer said, "It really looks too real tho!"
Instead of feeling offended, Leeteuk found his wig funny too. He responded on Instagram, "I heard many people have found laughter due to my hair. It's a good phenomenon. You didn't have many things to laugh about nowadays, right? Well, laugh more!!!" He also added, "#It's kinda cute ^^ Watch how my hair will change from now on... lol."
Leeteuk recently dyed his hair pink as Super Junior is preparing for their comeback with their new album "PLAY", which is due out on November 6, the same day the group will celebrate their 12th anniversary. The 34-year-old singer/MC decided to hide his unnatural hair in respect of the show viewers who are mostly elders in their 50s and 60s.
Leeteuk will promote the upcoming album with Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae and Siwon, as Kyuhyun and Ryeowook are currently serving in military. Kangin is currently inactive following his second DUI case, while Sungmin will not participate in the group's activities following backlash against the 31-year-old star.
Heechul recently expressed his fear that his leg pain might affect the group's activities. "Since we're making a comeback for the first time in a long while, the members and fans are all excited... and I was of course excited too," he posted on Instagram. "But I think that I will probably not be able to do normal activities. I apologize again to the fans and members who've waited a long time but... I really have no confidence at all [that I can]... Because I have always been thinking this in my heart, I am ashamed to face the members and fans."
Clarifying his statement, Super Junior's label SM Entertainment said, "The post that Kim Heechul wrote due to his worries about his chronic leg pain ahead of their comeback has been misinterpreted. Kim Heechul will be taking part in Super Junior's activities as normal."
