The 'Blade Runner 2049' actor promises to bring 'something they'll never, ever forget' when hosting the premiere of the upcoming season 43.

AceShowbiz - We will see Ryan Gosling hosting the season premiere of "Saturday Night Live" on September 30, should he pass the 30 Rock Security. The "La La Land" actor teases a dramatic, triumphant return to the hit NBC sketch-comedy in a newly-released promo for the upcoming season 43.

"All my life, I knew I could host 'SNL'... that thrill, that rush," the actor narrates while musical guest Jay-Z's "Caught Their Eyes" serves as the music background. As the iconic cityscape of New York continues flickering on the screen, the "Blade Runner 2049" star keeps on saying in noir-ish voiceover, "When I hosted it was magical, but you only got part of me last time," referring to his hosting gig back in December 2015.

"This time, I'm gonna give the world my soul," he claims. He later promises that he will give "something they'll never, ever forget" in the upcoming season 43 premiere.

The video later cuts to Ryan standing in front of a security guy, who insists that the actor needs a visitor pass to get upstairs. Donning a light-washed denim jacket over a dull-colored knitted top, Ryan says, "You run a tight ship, I respect that."

He pretends to walk away before making an attempt to make a run for it. He is easily stopped by security before making it into the elevators. "That's the way out? That's the way out," he tells the security, before adding, "Everyone is doing crackerjack job here. I'mma tell Lorne [Michaels, creator of 'SNL']."

It will mark the second time for "The Notebook" actor to host the show as he previously headlined "SNL" back in 2015. He guest starred on the show alongside Leon Bridges.

"Saturday Night Live" returns on September 30 at 11.30 P.M. on NBC.
