Yo Gotti Reportedly Involved in Young Dolph Shooting

Yo Gotti and Young Dolph's crews were allegedly involved in an argument before shots were fired outside the hotel they were both staying at.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Young Dolph was hospitalized after he was shot outside Shoe Palace near Hollywood Boulevard on North Highland Avenue on Tuesday afternoon, September 26. He was hit multiple times and taken to the local hospital. Officers were nearby and responded to the shooting immediately.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the shooting to the Daily News but would not identify the victim. According to TMZ, Young Dolph suffered multiple gunshot wounds but his injuries are being treated as non-life threatening at this time.

One person has been detained in connection with the shooting. The suspect was last seen in a gold Cadillac Escalade near the Hollywood Bowl, The Hollywood Reporter reports. The Hollywood and Highland complex, is a famous tourist attraction with several big-name shops. Following the shooting, a portion on the busy tourist spot was closed.

TMZ reports that Yo Gotti is named as a person of interest in the shooting. The "Rake It Up" hitmaker and Young Dolph were both staying at the Loews Hotel in Hollywood Tuesday when their crews got into some sort of disagreement. Moments later, shots were fired outside the hotel. Law enforcement sources tell the site that witnesses said Gotti was involved in the shooting.

This isn't the first time Yo Gotti and Young Dolph were involved in a beef. On February 25 this year, Young Dolph was targeted in a gunfire in Charlotte, North Carolina. At the time, his SUV was shot at over 100 times, but he walked away unscathed.

It was speculated that the shooting stemmed from a rivalry between Gotti and Dolph. Blac Youngsta, who is signed with Yo Gotti, eventually turned himself in. Dolph, whose real name is Adolph Thornton Jr., used the publicity to promote his second studio album "Bulletproof".
