'Fear the Walking Dead' 3.11 Sneak Peeks: Sewer Walker
TV

Strand leads Madison and Walker to a secret passage under the ground, only to encounter a nasty-looking zombie.

AceShowbiz - "Fear the Walking Dead" season 3 returned Sunday, September 10. As hinted in the promos, the peace that was forged in the midseason finale between the Broke Jaw Ranch and the Black Hat Reservation is threatened to be rocked by the lack of water.

In a preview for the next episode, Madison, Strand and Walker try to solve the water issue. They arrive at what looks like a junkyard, before Strand shows Madison and Walker a "secret passage," which is a sewer, into the dam.

It already doesn't look like a good idea considering the bad smell, but Strand insists it's the only way there. But the bad smell is not the only thing they have to brace, since a nasty-looking walker is also seen prying out in the sewer.

Meanwhile, in a preview for the same outing, Walker accuses Madison of lying to him and there will be "consequences." The group also encounters Daniel, who points his gun at them, as soon as they come out of the sewer.

Titled "La Serpiente", the new episode airs Sunday, September 17 at 9/8c on AMC. According to the official synopsis, "Following the rekindling of an old friendship, a mission is launched to replenish the Ranch's water supply by seeking the help of another community."

Meanwhile, showrunner Dave Erickson has talked about [SPOILER ALERT!] Madison's decision not to kill Troy and send him into exile instead, after Nick revealed that he's the one who killed his father Jeremiah. "...letting Troy go is some kind of atonement for her, in a rather short-sighted way. The danger of his return, and the fact that he's still out there, I think you put it very well: that's something that does haunt them both emotionally and it will most definitely come back to bite them in the ass," Erickson tells The Hollywood Reporter.
