The singer has reportedly been booked to take the stage at the free concert a few months after she releases her new album 'Reputation'.

AceShowbiz - It looks like Taylor Swift is more than ready to return to the stage once her new album "Reputation" arrives. The 27-year-old singer will perform at a free concert during the halftime show of a college football championship, according to ET. The gig is set to take place in Atlanta, Georgia on January 8, 2018.
While Taylor hasn't confirmed anything, a source told the site, "She will headline a concert in Centennial Olympic Park during halftime of the game." The source added, "It will be a free concert. ESPN has her booked for the event and has a massive deal to release new music from [her upcoming album] 'Reputation' through its college football coverage this season."
This actually makes sense. A few days ago, Taylor teased her new song "...Ready for It?" ahead of the Alabama and Florida State college football game on ABC. Additionally, her comeback single "Look What You Made Me Do" was featured in a recent promo on ESPN. "Taylor's sponsors (UPS and AT&T) are two of the biggest NCAA Football advertisers on ESPN," the source further noted.
While Swifties have high hopes for Taylor to take the stage at the Super Bowl halftime show, it's unlikely to happen. According to the source, because of the "Blank Space" hitmaker's endorsement deal with Diet Coke, she's unable to perform at the Pepsi-sponsored event.
In the meantime, Taylor seemingly wants to focus more on releasing songs ahead of the release of "Reputation" on November 10. The singer has remained mostly quite on social media. She recently made her first public appearance during her best friend's nuptials in Martha's Vineyard, where she served as the bridesmaid.
Donning a long, red gown with a classic sweetheart neckline, she helped hold the bride's long train as they entered Old Whaling Church in Edgartown. She later attempted to keep a low profile as she was shielded with a large, black tarp while walking from the church to an awaiting SUV.
