Liam Hemsworth fueled speculation that he's secretly tied the knot with his girlfriend Miley Cyrus. The actor was spotted rocking a simple silver band on his wedding ring during a casual outing in Malibu on Tuesday, August 29.
Sporting a white T-shirt, black shorts and white sneakers, the Australian hunk crashed a local bakery to pick up some baguettes before hopping onto his Range Rover. He wasn't joined by Miley during the sunny outing, as he proudly flaunted his new bling.
The recent outing came after a report suggested that the band was actually just a promise ring. Liam and Miley were allegedly involved in an explosive fight because the actor refused to wear it. "She pushed him and pushed him to wear the ring, and she finally lost her temper and was screaming at him furiously," a source told Life & Style. "The fight was one of the worst they've ever had. She refused to talk to him for almost two days after that."
Not wanting to upset her more, the actor has since worn the ring. "He wears the ring as more of a 'promise' to Miley, but they are not officially married," a source previously told E! News. "The only thing that is missing is the legal piece of paper. The pair is not focused on planning a wedding at this time. They are more focused on making their love as strong as possible."
Miley and Liam first met in 2009 on the set of their movie "The Last Song". The couple got engaged in 2012, only to call it off a year later. The "Wrecking Ball" songstress confirmed in October 2016 that they were, once again, engaged.
"I think...I know that everything that is happening for the right reason," Miley previously said of the breakup. "I knew that when we haven't together the first time. I didn't know if that was the end of it or knew if we'd be back together again, but knew that whenever I was going was on the right path. People that break up and get together, I think that's awesome because you know it's true, but also you get time to be yourself. You get time to grow up."
