In the upcoming sci-fi thriller, the 'Game of Thrones' actor stars alongside Martin Donovan, Julia Ormond, Henry Ian Cusick and the late actor Anton Yelchin in one of his final films.

AceShowbiz - Lionsgate has released the first trailer for its sci-fi thriller "Rememory" starring Peter Dinklage. Debuted via Entertainment Weekly, the over-2-minute video shows the 48-year-old actor as Sam Bloom who tries to find the killer of a scientist, played by Martin Donovan, whose invention helps people play their memories.

The trailer opens with the scientist introducing the new device at a seminar, with Sam sitting in the front row. It then jumps to a scene where the scientist is shot in the head in his office. Sam reaches out to the scientist's widow to help her find the murderer. Sam uses the device to find the killer, as he says in voiceover, "They can see your memories, but I can see the memories of those who near you."

Directed by Mark Palansky from a script he co-wrote with Michael Vukadinovich, "Rememory" explores the unexplained death of Gordon Dunn (Martin Donovan), a visionary scientific pioneer whose body is found shortly after the unveiling of his newest work: a device able to extract, record and play a person's memories.

Gordon's wife, Carolyn (Julia Ormond), retreats into her house and cuts off contact with the outside world when a mysterious man (Peter Dinklage) shows up. After stealing the machine, he uses it to try and solve the mystery, beginning an investigation of memories that lead him to unexpected and dangerous places.

The upcoming thriller also stars Henry Ian Cusick and the late Anton Yelchin in one of his final films. It will exclusively screen for a limited time on Google Play from August 24 and will be available to watch for free. It will also be released in select theaters on September 8.
