Robert Pattinson Finally Responds to Trump's Obsessive Tweets About Kristen Stewart Cheating on Him
Celebrity

When asked about the tweets, the 'Twilight' actor laughed before saying, 'When [Trump] said that, it didn't mean anything.'

AceShowbiz - It may be hard to believe (or not?), but back in 2012, Donald Trump was weirdly obsessed with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's relationship. In a series of tweets, the POTUS tried so hard to convince the actor that his then-girlfriend was cheating on him.

While Kristen has addressed Donald's tweets a lot of times, Robert just publicly responded to their existence during a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly. He said, "I think there's so many different levels of it. Your identity exists on many different planes at the same time and they all can be quite different from each other. When [Trump] said that, it didn't mean anything."

"But I guess now I'm sort of thinking, like, 'Well, I guess that is related to me.' But how does that fit in with all the other things going on in my life?" he added. "And sometimes you think, 'Can I use this in my acting? Or should I be putting it away?' It's kind of interesting, I guess. I don't know--this could be why people get annoyed with me."

The actor's response was indeed quite hazy, very different from Kristen's comments which are much more direct and straightforward regarding the issue. Earlier this year, the 27-year-old actress read some of the tweets when hosting "Saturday Night Live". She quipped, "So, to be fair. I don't think Donald Trump hated me. I think he was in love with my boyfriend."

To refresh your memory of Donald Trump's Robsten obsession, let's take a walk down Twitter's memory lane.
