The visuals sees the singer exploring subtropical landscapes and dancing around a bonfire while rhyming about finding freedom in perfect places.

AceShowbiz - Lorde has released a music video for "Perfect Places", the euphoric closing track off her latest album "Melodrama". The Grant Singer-directed clip finds the 20-year-old songstress embarking on epic solo adventure to several mesmerizing places, including a jungle and a breezy tropical beach.

The video definitely ignites our sense of wanderlust with the panoramic views and captivating images, such as a swing in a mythical forest and pensive tea party at lavish beach resort. In one scene, Lorde is using a rifle gun to shoot down coconuts, while in another, she shows off her late-night dance moves with a lightbulb.

The visuals seems to match the theme of the song, which celebrates youth, freedom and debauchery, perfectly. Lorde rhymes on the song, "All of the things we're taking/ 'Cause we are young and we're ashamed/ Send us to perfect places/ All of our heroes fading/ Now I can't stand to be alone/ Let's go to perfect places."

The "Royals" hitmaker is currently gearing up for her "Melodrama" world tour. She will kick off the extensive trek in September with European run before returning to her hometown of New Zealand for seven gigs. Lorde then will head to Australia before embarking on the North American leg next year.
