The 'Love Yourself' crooner has shared a lengthy message to express his utmost gratitude to fans and reveal the real reason behind the cancellation.

AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber left fans heartbroken when he canceled the remainder of his "Purpose" tour last week. Following a number of speculations regarding the reason behind the cancellation, the Canadian heartthrob has posted on Instagram a heartfelt message to set the record straight. "I'm so grateful for this journey with all of you," he begins. "I'm grateful for the tours but most of all I am grateful I get to go through this life WITH YOU! Learning and growing hasn't always been easy but knowing I'm not alone has kept me going."

"I have let my insecurities get the best of me at times, I let my broken relationships dictate the way I acted towards people and the way I treated them! I let bitterness, jealousy and fear run my life!!!" the "Sorry" hitmaker continues. "I am extremely blessed to have people in the past few years help me build my character back up reminding me of who I am and who I want to be!!!"

He then explains why he canceled his tour, claiming that he wants his mind, heart and soul to be sustainable. "Me taking this time right now is me saying I want to be SUSTAINABLE. I want my career to be sustainable, but I also want my mind heart and soul to be sustainable so that I can be the man I want to be, the husband I eventually want to be and the father I want to be," he adds.

The singer expects his fans to respect and understand his decision. "This message is just an opportunity for you to know my heart," he shares. "I'm not expecting anyone to understand, but I do want people to have an opportunity to know where I am coming from!"

Prior to this, Justin was said to be pulling out of the tour due to religious reasons. He has allegedly "rededicated his life to Christ" following the cancellation. However, he later denied the rumor, saying, "No, you already know the reason." The singer also hinted that he wanted to take some time off from the spotlight. "Yeah, everything's fine. I've been on tour for two years. Just resting and getting some relaxation."
