The 'Thrift Shop' rapper left unscathed after his Mercedes was hit by an alleged drunk driver in a pickup truck in Langley, Washington.

Macklemore was recently involved in a scary head-on collision with an alleged drunk driver. The Grammy-winning rapper, fortunately, managed to escape injury during the accident that happened on Friday night, July 28 in Langley, Washington.
According to Washington State Patrol, the 34-year-old musician was driving in the remote island town 90 minutes of Seattle at around 10:45 P.M. when the other driver, in a 1986 Chevrolet pickup, crossed the center traffic line and slammed into the front of Macklemore's 2016 S-Class Mercedes-Benz.
The pickup driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident and smashed his head into the windshield, leaving him unconscious and bleeding. The 24-year-old guy told officers he had been drinking alcohol "awhile back" at 5 o'clock. He was treated at a local hospital and will be charged with DUI.
Macklemore had 2 passengers in his Mercedes at the time. One of them was treated for a small cut, but all three of them were safe and walked away from the scene.
