Sean Spicer has responded to rumors that he's been approached to star in the next season of "Dancing with the Stars". Greeting reporters on the White House lawn on Thursday, July 27, the departing White House Press Secretary was asked about reports that he might be a future contestant on the ABC dancing competition show.

"I'm not going to tell you that," he coyly responded. "This is the phase where you just say 'Hi' to everybody," he said of the alleged meetings with network executives who have reportedly offered him various jobs.

When a reporter teased him by saying, "Invite Melissa McCarthy to come with you and jointly do a farewell," Spicer replied, "Thank you. I'll keep that in mind." McCarthy is famous for her impersonation of Spicer on "Saturday Night Live".

Spicer appears to be more relaxed and gleeful following announcement of his resignation as White House Press Secretary last Friday, July 21. Commenting on the new White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci, he said as quoted by Politico, "He's done a great job helping to implement the president's agenda."

Asked further if he thought Scaramucci was doing a good job, he said, "I don't think Anthony needs me critiquing him. He's got a clean slate to implement the president's agenda."
