The 'Mary Poppins' remake releases a teaser trailer during Disney's D23 Expo and the 'Lion King' reboot reveals first footage.

AceShowbiz - "Mary Poppins Returns" and "The Lion King" unleashed first footage each during Disney's D23 Expo over the weekend in Anaheim, California. While the videos haven't been made available online, descriptions have made their round on the internet.

The trailer of the "Mary Poppins" reboot shows the Banks falling on hard times as their house at Cherry Tree Lane is on the verge of foreclosure. Colin Firth plays the heartless bank boss. "Those things when we were younger, they didn't really happen?" Jane (Emily Mortimer) says.

Emily Blunt's Mary Poppins is magically floating down from the sky with her umbrella as one of the Banks kids is flying a kite with Jack the Lamplighter. The nanny helps brighten the dark gloomy Banks household as musical number and dance sequence are glimpsed.

Meanwhile, the video of the "Lion King" remake pays tribute to the original film. It shows the animals such as zebras, elephants, and rhinos gathering at Pride Rock as Rafiki is holding up baby Simba. There are Nala and Mufasa well.
