AceShowbiz - Following announcement of "Outlander" season 3 premiere date, more sneak peeks of the upcoming season have been released. Entertainment Weekly has got its hand on several new pictures from the next installment of the fantasy drama series, and one of them is especially intriguing as it gives the first look at Lord John Grey.
Played by David Berry, the former British soldier-turned-Ardsmuir Prison governor is seen in his uniform in an open field with Jamie (Sam Heughan), who is imprisoned. The two will strike a dubious friendship. Another photo shows Claire's (Caitriona Balfe) life in 20th century. She, her husband Frank and her daughter Brianna are seen at what looks like a party.
"Outlander" season 3 is based on "Voyager", the third book in Diana Gabaldon's book series. Jamie suffers from the aftermath of his doomed last stand at the historic battle of Culloden, as well as the loss of Claire. Separated by continents and centuries, Claire and Jamie must find their way back to each other.
The time-crossing love story returns for the new season on Sunday, September 10 at 8 P.M. on Starz.
