"America's Got Talent" paid tribute to Brandon Rogers, one of its current season 12 contestants who died in a tragic car accident last month. In Tuesday, July 11 episode, the NBC talent competition aired Brandon's audition footage exactly one month after his passing.

"On June 11th one of our contestants, Brandon Rogers, tragically passed away in a car accident. At the request of his family we would like to honor his memory by sharing his audition with you," the show put on the screen before airing Brandon's appearance.

The 29-year-old doctor took the stage to perform beautiful rendition of Stevie Wonder's 1995 classic "Ribbon in the Sky", making Melanie Brown a.k.a. Mel B sing along with him in enjoyment. Brandon nailed the song and earned standing ovation from the crowds, Mel B and fellow judges Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel.

"The doctor is really handsome, and the doctor can sing. I really enjoyed that. There is something so special about your voice, it's working for me," Heidi gushed. Simon even told Brandon, who revealed that he wanted to be a doctor after finding his mom lying in a pool of blood when he was six, that he was one of the best singers they had in the competition.

Brandon, who caught "AGT" producer's ears with his smooth cover of Boyz II Men's classic "On Bended Knee", got into a fatal car accident when the driver of 2016 black Mercedes-Benz he rode reportedly dozed off and veered off road, before crashing into a tree in Maryland on Saturday, June 10. The driver and another friend, who was riding in the backseat, survived. Meanwhile, Brandon, who took the front passenger seat, died from his injuries the next day in a hospital.
