AceShowbiz - Netflix has booked a premiere date for the much-awaited second season of its hit show "Stranger Things". The captivating sci-fi series from the Duffer Brothers is scheduled to return for the next installment on October 27. "1984 only gets stranger," a teaser ominously warns what to expect from the new outing.

The show will continue to follow the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana as they are still reeling from the horrors of the demagorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.

Winona Ryder, Noah Schnapp, David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown are among the returning cast. They are joined by Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Joe Keery among others.
