The 23-year-old actor will star in his very first film, 'Ansi Fortress', alongside Jo In Sung and AOA's Seolhyun.

Nam Joo Hyuk is set to make his big screen debut with a star studded historical movie titled "Ansi Fortress", YG Entertainment confirms. The "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" star will star alongside Jo In Sung and AOA's Seolhyun.
"Ansi Fortress" will follows the 88-day battle between Yang Manchun (with the Goguryeo army) against the invasion of 500 thousand Tang Dynasty troops who tried to capture Ansi fortress. Jo In Sung will star as General Yang Manchun, while Nam Joo Hyuk's character will be helping out Yang Manchun. Seolhyun, meanwhile, will play Yang Manchun's younger sister.
Nam Joo Hyuk is currently busy filming his latest drama "Bride of the Water God". He stars alongside Shin Se Kyung ("Fashion King", "The Girl Who Sees Smells") , Lim Ju-hwan ("Ugly Alert", "Uncontrollably Fond"), F(x)'s Krystal Jung ("My Lovely Girl", "The Heirs") and Gong Myung ("Entertainer", "Drinking Solo").
"Bride of the Water God" airs on cable channel tvN every Monday and Tuesday starting on July 3.
