Did Eric Benet confront Jay-Z after the rapper dissed him on a new track? If MediaTakeOut is to be believed, the R&B singer pulled up on Jigga's Malibu mansion over the weekend to take the issue to a physical territory. He reportedly asked the security to tell Jay-Z to come outside and have a fair fight with him.
However, the husband of Beyonce Knowles seemed unfazed by the challenge as he was allegedly too busy enjoying a quality time with his family, including his newborn twins, Sir and Rumi. "Jay was inside enjoying his family. He doesn't have time for any of [Eric Benet's] nonsense," an insider told the outlet.
The problem began when Eric got a shout-out on Jigga's new track called "Kill Jay Z". On the song, the rapper reminded himself not to be like Eric Benet, making a reference to Eric's cheating scandal while he was still married to Halle Berry. "You almost went Eric Benet/ Let the baddest girl in the world get away/ I don't even know what else to say/ N***a, never go Eric Benet," Jay-Z rapped.
Shortly after, Eric took to Twitter to coolly respond to the diss track. He clapped back at the rapper and threw a subtle shade at his ex-wife by tweeting, "Hey yo #JayZ! Just so ya know, I got the baddest girl in the world as my wife....like right now!"
