Television is in early development to bring a live-action multi-camera TV adaption of "The Jetson". The Hanna-Barbera 1960s animated follows a family residing in the futuristic, outer-space utopia known as Orbit City.

Sources tell the site that Warner Bros. TV has hired "Family Guy" EP Gary Janetti to shepherd the potential live-action series. Robert Zemeckis and Jack Rapke will serve as showrunners alongside Janetti with Jackie Levine executive producing. The studio is scheduled to begin shopping the series to broadcast and cable networks in the coming weeks.
