Vito Schabel broke his silence after he was pictured allegedly kissing another woman during a night out in London. The art dealer says it was an "innocent situation" and claims that he didn't cheat on his girlfriend Heidi Klum.
"The claims that have been made are a misinterpretation of an entirely innocent situation," Schnabel told PEOPLE. "There is nothing more to this than I was simply saying goodnight to a family friend and we went on our separate ways."
In a paparazzi picture, Schabel seemed to kiss his female companion on the lips in the backseat of a cab after having dinner at the city's hotspot Chiltern Firehouse. Klum was miles away in the States, filming new episodes of "America's Next Top Model".
Heidi Klum, 44, Vito Schabe, 30, have been together for three years. Their romance started in 2014 after she parted ways with husband of seven years Seal. She has since sworn off marriage. "I won't get married again," she said back in 2015, adding that she's "very much in love."
