A new trailer for "American Assassin" is here for your viewing pleasure. Labeled restricted, the video is loaded with bloody and brutal killing scenes as Dylan O'Brien's Mitch Rapp is sent on a mission following his training under the watchful eye of Michael Keaton's Stan Hurley.

The mission pits Mitch against Taylor Kitsch's character, a mysterious operative called Ghost who intents on starting a World War in the Middle East. To make matter worse, Ghost will be an equal, if not stronger adversary, since he was once also trained by Stan.

Based on Vince Flynn's 2010 novel of the same name, "American Assassin" follows the rise of Mitch Rapp, a CIA black ops recruit under the instruction of Cold War veteran Stan Hurley. The pair is then enlisted by CIA Deputy Director Irene Kennedy (Sanaa Lathan) to investigate a wave of apparently random attacks on both military and civilian targets.

Directed by Michael Cuesta with the script provided by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Nick Wechsler, the action thriller is due out September 15 in the U.S. The movie is not yet rated.
