So, "4:44" is indeed Jay-Z's new album. Following the birth of his twins, the rapper surprised fans by officially announcing the new studio effort along with its release date. "4:44" will arrive by the end of this month, June 30 to be exact, and will be a Tidal and Sprint exclusive.

"Today is an exciting day to be a Sprint customer," Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure said in a statement. "Jay-Z is a global icon and we're giving customers an incredible opportunity to be among the first to experience his new album '4:44'."

Sprint offers six months of Tidal HiFi free for its users. "Our loyal, existing customers, and customers who switch to Sprint, can experience the album exclusively, plus access a complimentary six-month trial of TIDAL HiFi, giving them access to content they can't get anywhere else," Claure added.

Although the album's details have yet to be revealed, there are talks that it will be a visual album. A snippet of a track from the upcoming album was released during the NBA finals earlier this month. The song, reportedly titled "Adnis", was previewed with a cinematic clip which saw Mahershala Ali as a boxer and Danny Glover as his coach.
