"Titans", the live-action series based on DC Comics superhero team Teen Titans, will get underway this fall. According to My Entertainment World, the live-action series will start its principal photography on September 25 in Atlanta, Georgia.

As of now, there is not much known about the upcoming series as casting announcement has not been made. However, with the filming slated to begin this September, cast members are expected to be revealed between July and August.

"Titans" revolves around "a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven and many others."

Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti, and Akiva Goldsman, the team behind the DC Universe on The CW, are set to executive produce the series alongside Sarah Schechter from Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. Johns, Berlanti and Goldman also pen the script for the live-action series.

"Titans" was originally set to debut on TNT before being pulled by the network. A few months ago, Warner Bros. announced that the series would debut on Warner Bros.' new digital streaming service, which also hosts the upcoming season 3 of "Young Justice".

"Titans" is set to premiere sometime in 2018.
