Megyn Kelly is going to interview Vladimir Putin this coming weekend. The anchor has scored a one-on-one sit-down with the Russian leader for the very first episode of her NBC show "Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly" on June 4 at 7 P.M. ET.

Kelly's team reportedly reached out to Kremlin after she's tapped to moderate an economic forum in St. Petersburg on Friday, June 2, where Putin will be one of the panelists. The NBC interview will mark his first interview with an American journalist since U.S. appointed a special counsel to look into Russian's alleged interference in 2016 Presidential election.

Megyn Kelly left Fox News in January after 12 years to join the Peacock following Roger Ailes scandal. She made her debut on NBC during "Today" show, and accidentally snubbed Hoda Kotb. "Hey guys, it's great to be with you, Matt [Lauer] and Savannah [Guthrie]," Kelly said, prompting Kotb to raise her hands in the air in a "what about me?" gesture.

Kelly went on to tease her upcoming interview with Putin. "I'll get a chance to ask him directly about these allegations of meddling and the prospect of our two countries working together and beyond," she opened up. "So that ought to be fun."
