AceShowbiz - Jamie Foxx was caught off guard when asked about his alleged romance with Katie Holmes. When photographers addressed the dating rumors after he arrived at LAX on Monday, May 22, the Oscar-winning actor awkwardly said that it wasn't true.
In a video obtained by Daily Mail, Jamie was about to enter the airport when some photographers approached him for a brief interview. The "Django Unchained" star sported a black shirt, white jacket and black pants. He completed his look with a pair of sunglasses and a hat.
While he was talking about his upcoming game show, "Beat Shazam", a photographer abruptly asked, "How does Katie feel about this?" Jamie tried to keep his composure, but it could be seen that he was surprised at the question. "It's fake news, fake news," he finally said as he tried to avoid eye contact.
"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" actor dodged other questions about the "Batman Begins" star and continued talking about his show. However, a photographer refused to give up and asked him to confirm his relationship with the 38-year-old actress. Jamie didn't respond as he kept walking toward the elevator. When the photographer said that he and Katie looked "very cute together by the way," Jamie cheekily replied, "Thanks for saying I'm cute," before leaving.
Earlier this month, the notoriously private couple was spotted spending time together in Paris. It was said that they were staying a hotel which was only a few blocks away from where Tom Cruise, Katie's ex-husband, was filming "Mission: Impossible 6". Katie and Jamie were said choosing to stay inside the hotel, presumably to avoid any awkward run-in with Tom. A source revealed that they were "very discreet" and "made sure to always enter and exit the hotel and the car separately."
