Vanessa Hudgens was reportedly on cloud nine when Drake gave her compliments at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards on May 21. According to a new report from HollywoodLife.com, the "High School Musical" alum was "flattered" by all of the attention the rapper showered her with at the annual award-giving event.

"She thinks he is hot, sexy and an amazing rapper," a source close to Vanessa told the webloid. "She was surprised and totally caught off guard by all of his very public flirting with her... they even hung out a bit after the show, but that is where it pretty much ended." Drake and Vanessa reportedly spent more time during a late night dinner at Hakkasan after the show. They were joined by other celebs, like Kevin Hart and PARTYNEXTDOOR.

While Vanessa totally loved the compliment, the insider said that the actress "has been loyal and devoted" to her boyfriend, Austin Butler, for years. "If the timing were different, Vanessa would totally be open to spending more time with Drake. However, even though their busy schedules keep them apart, Vanessa is still very much in love and with her boyfriend Austin [Butler]," the source added.

At the ceremony, Drake gave Vanessa a special shoutout during one of his acceptance speeches. "It's crazy that we're all here on Earth for a limited amount of time and we gotta show love while we're here," he initially said, before adding, "So tonight, I want to say, Vanessa Hudgens you look incredible tonight." He has since followed the actress on Instagram and liked one of her posts.
