Demi Lovato has nothing but love for her "frienemy," Miley Cyrus. Demi, who's been sober for five years, says that she is really proud of Miley, who recently told Billboard about how she had quit alcohol, weed and other drugs.

"I am really proud of Miley," the "Camp Rock" star says in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. "I think that it helps people to know that there are people in the spotlight that have challenges, that are faced with very stressful lives. I think it helps to know that recovery is possible and it’s something that is so important to certain people like myself."

She's also speaking about Brad Pitt who declared his sobriety in his recent interview with GQ Style. "I wouldn't be alive without my sobriety, and the people that are sober today in this industry, I commend them a lot," Demi shares. "But even in day-to-day life, no matter whether you are from the middle of nowhere or you live in a big city, addiction doesn't discriminate, so whenever you are able to take control back, it's really admirable."

The "Skyscraper" hitmaker celebrated the fifth anniversary of her sobriety back in March. She expressed her gratitude by posting a heartfelt message on Instagram. "So grateful. It's been quite the journey. So many ups and downs. So many times I wanted to relapse but sat on my hands and begged God to relieve the obsession," she wrote, before adding, "I'm so proud of myself but I couldn't have done it without my higher power (God), my family, friends and everyone else who supported me. Feeling humbled and joyful today. Thank you guys for sticking by my side and believing in me."
