Chris Brown reportedly got a surprise call from his ex, Rihanna, on his birthday. HollywoodLife.com is the first to report that the Barbadian-born songstress sang him happy birthday when they FaceTimed.

"Rih was not about to let this day go by without hitting Chris up on his birthday," a source close to RiRi told the webloid. "They FaceTimed and when he picked up she immediately started singing him happy birthday. He was speechless." Brown was reportedly touched as "his eyes lit up and he had the biggest smile on his face."

The insider continued, "He was bobbing his head when she was singing and when she was done he was like wow." Not only did RiRi sing him happy birthday, the "Umbrella" hitmaker reportedly also told him three magic words, "I love you." "They talked briefly and she told him I love you," the source added.

It was previously reported that Rihanna thought about dating Breezy again after they were "texting and sexting" each other. However, her friends allegedly were not too excited about the plan as they're begging her to stay away from him. "Her pals are hoping that she never returns to Chris even in a friends capacity," a source previously said.

Rihanna recently sparked dating rumors with Olympic fencer Miles Chamley-Watson after they were spotted cozying up at her Met Gala after-party at 1OAK. A partygoer reported that the pair looked like a new couple as she was "canoodling and getting chummy" with the British-born athlete.
