The Oscar-nominated actress and the British singer have a wild night trip together as they play darts, hit a tattoo parlor and dance with friends in a club in Galway, Ireland.

AceShowbiz - After much anticipation, Ed Sheeran has finally released a video for his latest single "Galway Girl". The Jason Koenig-directed clip stars Irish-American actress Saoirse Ronan who portrays Sheeran's love interest.

The three-minute video was filmed from Sheeran's perspective as a camera was strapped to his forehead. It begins with the singer wrapping up his jam-packed concert, before he catches up with Ronan in a pub where they dance and play darts. The two then hit the streets and interrupt a group of dancers, who appear to be some die-hard fans of Sheeran.

Elsewhere in the clip, Sheeran and Ronan are cycling around the city before they end up at a tattoo parlor where he gets a new ink. They continue their night trip to another club to drink with friends. At the end of the clip, Sheeran wakes up in a beachside property after having a wild night with his girl.

Fans were thrilled when Sheeran filmed the video on a Galway street corner last month. He had the crowd gathering outside O'Connor's pub in Salthill as he shot more scenes inside. The British singer revealed he's so proud of having Ronan in the clip as she's a "phenomenal talent."

"It was like a really phenomenal thing to watch, I've never really seen a young actor or actress that good. She's really talented," he told RTE 2FM's Eoghan McDermott show. Though he enjoyed working with Ronan, he felt awkward as he filmed the clip himself. "It's kind of weird because I was shooting some of the video myself, there are some points when I'm holding the camera and she just... off screen is normal and just like a cool person then as soon as the camera goes on she just turns... it's amazing to watch."
