The "What Do You Mean?" hitmaker took to his Instagram account on Wednesday, April 12 to tease fans with four black-and-white photos taken from a studio. Sporting a black hoodie with "Purpose Tour" logo and grey sweatpants, Justin leans into a microphone with blurred music sheets in front of him.

Although Selena Gomez's ex left the photos captionless, he seemed to be aware that fans would take the studio pics as hints of new music from him. A fan commented, "OMG CAN'T WAIT FOR NEW MUSIC!" Similar reaction was given by another excited fan who expressed it with uppercase letters. She gushed, "OMG IS NEW MUSIC COMING OUT JAY?"
