Hannah Simone was once mistaken for Kim Kardashian. The actress, who is best known for portraying Cece on "New Girl", revealed that paparazzi once mistook her for the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star almost a decade ago.

"I do remember when I first moved to L.A., I don't know when that was, eight or nine years ago," said the "Band Aid" actress to TheWrap. "I was coming out of a restaurant and I had my bangs and a high ponytail. And I guess Kim Kardashian had just cut bangs, and I'd just moved to L.A. from Toronto."

Simone went on saying, "I wasn't on a show, nothing. I'm just walking down the street. And all of a sudden, this herd of paparazzi are screaming, 'Kim!' and started chasing me down the road." She continued, "I didn't know what was happening, I didn't know who Kim was. I didn't know what was going on."

The "Lemonade" grad then explained, "It was only a friend of mine who was down the road who was like, 'They think you're Kim Kardashian.' " She added, "So that's the closest I've ever gotten to a Kardashian is being mistaken for one."

Other than starring on "New Girl" season four, Simone is currently busy hosting FOX's "Kicking & Screaming". The reality competition series sees 10 teams of expert survivalists and pampers contestants overcoming challenges in the jungles of Fiji.
