The 'Salt' actress reportedly 'couldn't stand being around Amal' and refused to see the Clooneys while making negative comments about the human rights lawyer to their mutual friends.

Angelina Jolie may be one of the greatest artists who makes people jealous of her. While she probably has everything she wants, the "Salt" actress is reportedly "filled with envy" over George Clooney's wife Amal Alamuddin.
According to Life & Style, Angie and Amal were barely speaking to each other for about six months because of the actress' jealousy over the successful human rights lawyer. "Angie couldn't stand being around Amal," a so-called source told the publication, before adding, "not because Amal was unkind or rude, but solely because Angie was filled with envy."
Angie reportedly refused to see the Clooneys while making negative comments about Amal to their mutual friends. "Angelina would even knock Amal's looks and fashion sense," the source continued. "Amal seemed to ignore it, but George didn't want to sit by and watch his wife get cut down."
The publication went on claiming that the relationship between the two had affected Brad Pitt and George's friendship since the "Gravity" actor was hurt after knowing that "Brad wouldn't stand up to Angie."
It's no surprise if Angie will distance herself from the British lawyer. In an interview with Marie Claire in 2011, the 41-year-old actress revealed that she didn't have many female friends. "I have few girlfriends, I just... I stay at home a lot," she told the publication. "I'm just not very social. I don't do a lot with them, and I'm very homebound."
