The 'Ghost in the Shell' actress is reportedly 'gearing up for nasty custody battle' after filing for divorce from her French husband.

AceShowbiz - Scarlett Johansson has filed for divorce from her French husband Romain Dauriac, according to a new report. Page Six was the first to claim that the "Ghost in the Shell" actress' attorney, Judith Poller, served the divorce filings to Dauriac's lawyer, Harold Mayerson, on Tuesday, March 7.

This would officially mark the end of Johansson and Dauriac's two-year marriage. Custody would no doubt be an issue, as they share 2-year-old daughter Rose Dorothy Dauriac. Mayerson revealed to the news outlet that the estranged couple's "gearing up for nasty custody battle" over their only daughter.

"He would like to move to France with his daughter and Ms. Johansson does a lot of traveling," Mayerson explained. "It will be an interesting process," he said of the unfolding divorce drama. He declined to comment further.

Johansson and Dauriac were first linked to each other in 2012. They got married in a private wedding ceremony in 2014, shortly after they welcomed their daughter. Earlier this year, it was confirmed that the estranged couple separated in the summer of 2016.
