Jennifer Lopez is reportedly planning a Broadway musical about her own life. The National Enquirer was the first to report the news. The webloid reported that the "On the Floor" hitmaker already sought professional help to make the musical happen.
An insider told the webloid that Jennifer has been contacting award winning theater director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell. "Jennifer has been in contact with two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell," the insider said, before adding, "They are talking about turning her incredible life story into a big Broadway musical, using her hit songs."
The insider also spilled the beans on the possible plot of the Broadway musical. "It will start as a poor kid growing up in the Bronx and taking the 6 train into Manhattan. It will follow her early beginnings as a dancing Fly Girl before going on to become a superstar," the insider revealed.
It's reasonable for Jennifer to have a musical written about her. The "Papi" singer has been active in the industry, as both a singer and an actress, for more than 30 years after debuting in 1986. Recently, Jennifer made headlines for her body and stage presence during the "All I Have" residency show at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
Jennifer performed her Iggy Azalea-featured track, "Booty", during which she shook her booty like crazy and broke out into an epic dance routine with her back-up dancers. The mother of two still nailed the energetic moves perfectly despite being a 47-year-old lady, prompting her adoring fans to flood her comment section on Instagram with nothing but praise.
