AceShowbiz - The first teaser for the sixth season of "Veep" has been released. The new season takes place on the aftermath of season five finale, in which Selina (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) lost the U.S. presidency to Laura Montez (Andrea Savage) after a shocking tie in the Electoral College.
"Being an ex-president is like being a man's nipple," Selina tells Richard Splett (Sam Richardson) in the beginning of the video. "People go right by you, then jerk off a d**k," she adds. Meanwhile, goggle-eyed Gary Walsh (Tony Hale), who's standing beside her, can be seen nodding to everything that Selina says.
"This is my second act," says Selina when the teaser video shows numbers of voters showing off their inked thumbs to the former president. "Selina Meyer travels the globe spreading democracy like 'Patient Zero'," she tells people.
The video features Selina, who looks angry while she says, "I was the first female president and I will not work for less than 87 cents on the dollar." She adds, "And tell them I'll stand at a glass podium and wear a short skirt."
Set to premiere on Sunday, April 16 at 10:30 P.M. ET on HBO, "Veep" season six also stars Anna Chlumsky as Amy Brookheimer, Reid Scott as Dan Egan, Timothy Simons as Jonah Ryan, Matt Walsh as Mike McLintock, Sufe Bradshaw as Sue Wilson, Kevin Dunn as Ben Cafferty and Gary Cole as Kent Davison.
