The 'Live!' alum reveals in an interview with Larry king that his former co-host hasn't spoken to him since his departure in 2011.

AceShowbiz - Regis Philbin opens up on Kelly Ripa's bad blood with him after he decided to step down from ABC's "Live!" show. When asked by Larry King if he kept in touch with his former co-host, the 85-year-old media personality revealed, "not really, no."

"She got very offended when I left. She thought I was leaving because of her," Philbin explained. "I was leaving because I was getting older and that wasn't right for me anymore." He also said that he was never once asked to guest co-host on the show.

Asked if he wanted to return to TV, he replied, "I don't know. How often would it be? Would it be every night? Every day? I do miss it. There are times when I really miss it and wish I'd never stopped. But, you know, I just figured it was time to let go."

After Philbin's departure in 2011, Michael Strahan later joined Ripa but the former athlete abruptly left her last year and move to "Good Morning America". She has since been hosting the show with guest co-hosts and is seemingly in no hurry to find a new partner.
