Justin Bieber is now a suspect in an assault investigation. The "Let Me Love You" hitmaker got into a shoving match with a man twice his size after a Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Finals basketball game back in June.

At the time, Justin was caught on camera throwing punches at the man, but his much-bigger opponent easily retaliated with his own fist and sent the star to the ground. The brawl reportedly happened outside his hotel.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Justin has been named as the suspect in a police report in Cleveland. The investigation is reportedly ongoing and no charges have been filed. Sources close to the alleged victim claim he took so long to file the lawsuit because he was trying to settle up with the "Baby" hitmaker refused to cooperate.

The alleged victim claimed Justin grabbed his sunglasses when he took a pic of the singer with the shades. The "Sorry" crooner became angry and attacked the man. Justin's crew then reportedly got in on the action. The alleged victim was hospitalized with various injuries, including a concussion.

A representative for Justin hasn't responded to a request for comment.
