First 'Logan' Clip Features Strong R-Rated Scene, New Photos Highlight the Villains
Movie

20th Century Fox has released a brand new clip which reveals the movie's tone and new photos that highlight the two villains in the 'X-Men' spin-off.

AceShowbiz - As the release date is approaching, 20th Century Fox releases the first clip and some new photos for the highly-anticipated "Logan". The latest sneak peek follows up the Super Bowl spot which debuted on Sunday, February 5.

The new clip titled "You Know the Drill" reveals the actual tone of the movie. The clip opens with three old men approaching Logan and his friend, before accusing them of trespassing. When one of the old men spots Logan, he asks, "Who is this?" Logan calmly replies, "It's the guy telling you to get back to your nice truck." The old man is not buying his words, as he tries to provoke Logan by pointing a loaded gun to him. "You know the drill. I'm gonna count to three and you're gonna start walking away," the old man confidently says without knowing the danger to come.

Logan's friend is trying to resolve the standoff as the old man keeps counting down. Before the old man finishes counting down to three, Logan furiously grabs his gun and smashes it to the man's face, very hard. The clawed mutant ends it by easily breaking the gun into two pieces and saying, "You know the drill. Get the hell out of here."

Meanwhile, the new five photos of the Wolverine final movie highlight the villains and the heroes in the movie. The first photo features the titular hero played by Hugh Jackman lying on the ground with dust covering his clothes. The next photo sees the young mutant named Laura a.k.a. X-23 (Dafne Keen) brutally knocking down her enemy. Professor X (Patrick Stewart) is also featured in the newly released photos.

The new photos also give a detailed look at the two villains, Dr. Zander Rice (Richard E. Grant) and Donald Pierce (Boyd Holbrook). In the picture, Pierce is seen kneeling down to talk to someone who looks like mutant Caliban, judging by the outfit.

Set in the near future, "Logan" revolves around old Logan who has been long retired from the superhero game and opts to spend his days working as a driver and taking care for an ailing Professor X in a hideout on the Mexican border. However, when he meets a young mutant named Laura, his inner superhero is being called once again.

James Mangold directs the movie and works with Scott Frank and Michael Green to write the screenplay. The movie also stars Doris Morgardo as Maria and Elizabeth Rodriguez as Gabriela. "Logan" hits U.S. theaters on March 3.
