Vanessa Hudgens will be there for you. Stopping by "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" to promote her new TV series "Powerless", Hudgens linked up with host Jimmy Fallon to pay tribute to NBC's biggest sitcom "Friends".

"Thursday night NBC had some of the biggest sitcoms in the history of television," Fallon said, before the two started listing shows that were popular on Thursday night including "Seinfeld", "Cheers" and "Friends". Hudgens and Fallon then decided to sing an acoustic rendition of "Friends" theme song, "I'll Be There for You".

Donning a cabernet-colored lace-up maxi dress, the former Disney Channel star sang the song while acoustic guitar was playing in the background. Complete with hand clapping, the two slowed down the song as they gave more emotional feeling.

Earlier this week, Hudgens honored his late father Gregory, who died of cancer about a year ago. Taking to Instagram, the 28-year-old beauty shared a sweet message. "He's my angel looking down on me and I know how proud he is," so she wrote. "I keep trucking on but still feel his presence in my heart. And there he will forever stay."

As you may already know, Hudgens stars on the upcoming "Powerless". It is an action comedy series developed by Ben Queen for NBC and the first sitcom series set within the world of the DC Comic. Vanessa is cast as Emily Locke, Director of Research & Development for Wayne Security. She will be joined by the likes of Danny Pudi, Alan Tudyk and Christina Kirk among others. The series is set to premiere on February 2.
