AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian just wanted to have fun with her family during their vacation in Costa Rica, so she chose not to bring along her husband Kanye West on the trip. The reality TV star reportedly left her hubby at home in Los Angeles as she, their kids and the other Kardashian-Jenners jetted off to the Central American country on Thursday, January 26.
Reminding its readers that there have been rumors about the couple's marriage being on the rocks following her robbery and his hospitalization late last year, Celeb Dirty Laundry claimed that Kim totally banned Kanye from the getaway because she's tired of dealing with his antics.
"Kim simply wants a drama free vacation. She doesn't want to deal with Kanye's erratic behavior or, worse, unpredictable meltdowns," the publication wrote, adding that this wouldn't be Kanye's first time to have been "shunned" by the Kardashian-Jenner clan as he was also absent at a family dinner last Christmas.
Kanye is indeed not coming to Costa Rica with his wife and her famous family. However, fans shouldn't freak out just yet, because his decision to stay in L.A. has nothing to do whatsoever with those divorce rumors.
PEOPLE has learned that Kanye's never expected to be part of the trip to begin with. "[He] was never supposed to come. He is busy working on his music in L.A.," a source says.
But just because you now know why Kanye wouldn't be with Kim and their children in Costa Rica, it doesn't mean the vacation will be completely drama-free. The same PEOPLE source additionally reveals that Kourtney Kardashian's baby daddy Scott Disick was nowhere to be seen when the family left L.A.
"Scott is still in the dog house from partying at Sundance. Kourtney disinvited him," the source explains.
