"Cars 3" has released its characters teasers. The videos offer more looks at lead character Lightning McQueen as well as new characters Cruz Ramirez and Jackson Storm. The teasers show each car from different angles.

The first character highlighted in the clip is Jackson Storm, a new character who also serves as the movie's bad guy. He has the appearance of pitch-black lavish car, with a touch of metallic blue on its frame. The description on the image shared by Entertainment Weekly and Pixar reveals that Storm is Custom-built "Next-Gen" Piston Cup Racer. Storm will be McQueen's rival in Piston Cup Racing.

The second one is Cruz Ramirez. She is all yellow, 2017 CRS Sports Coupe. She is McQueen's fan and will also serve as his trainer. Ramirez is described as optimistic, sunny, fierce and friendly.

The last one is none other than Lightning McQueen. He is still red and sleek, with his body full of lavish bright-colored stickers. Ten years have passed since his appearance in "Cars" and he has to deal with midlife crises. He wonders whether he is still able to participate in the next racing competition.

First-time Pixar director Brian Fee explains McQueen's character development. "He's in the middle of his life, and as an athlete, that's getting up there," Fee says. "You have your whole life ahead of you, yet your career is starting to show its age. He's looking in the mirror and realizing, 'I'm 40 years old,' and dealing with the fact that the thing that you love more than anything else, you might not be able to do forever."
