There's still hope for "Girl Meets World" renewal. The show writers just stated through their official Twitter on December 30 that there's no official word regarding the cancellation just yet.
"There is no official word as yet. Disney decision on season 4 coming soon. Officially, season 3 ends with 3 wonderful episodes in January," they said in response to report saying that the show was canceled after three seasons.

Speculation about the show's cancellation was first sparked by Rider Strong, who plays Shawn Hunter on the "Boy Meets World" spin-off. He revealed on "Literally Disco" podcast that the series would end with season 3.
"We finished the third season of 'Girl Meets World'. My brother (Shiloh Strong) and I were directing a lot of episodes and I acted in a couple. And the show ended," Rider said.
In response to the actor's words, the writer wrote, "As much as I love Shawn Hunter, having created his character and everything, you have to remember that he was wrong a lot."

The writers through their Twitter feed also expressed their gratitude to fans for their support, saying, "Whatever happens, it has been a great joy to get to continue this story. If it's over, thankyou. If not, we will keep giving our best."

The third season of "Girl Meets World" still has 3 more episodes to air in January 2017. The season finale, which is titled "Girl Meets Goodbye", will feature "Boy Meets World" alums Will Friedle and William Daniels, who will reprise their roles as Eric and Mr. Feeny respectively.
"Girl Meets World" airs on Fridays at 8:30 P.M. ET on Disney Channel.
