The 'Hotline Bling' hitmaker has reportedly been 'getting hella backlash' from fellow rappers regarding his upcoming collaborative album with the 'Famous' rapper.

AceShowbiz - Drake reportedly regrets recording a collaborative album with Kanye West following the latter's meeting with Donald Trump. According to an insider, the "Hotline Bling" hitmaker "has been getting hella backlash" from fellow rappers.

"Drake might be having second thoughts about recording with Kanye after he met with Donald Trump. Drake's been getting hella backlash from his rapper friends who are telling him to steer clear of Kanye because of his Trump alliance," says the insider, adding that the project may be canceled if Kanye continues to be Donald's biggest fan.

"Trump and hip-hop don't mix and since Ye is so down with the Prez, Drake's association with Yeezy may hurt his brand," the insider tells HollywoodLife.com, "Kanye's all over the place right now anyway and anybody getting in the studio right now with him should reconsider."

The "Gold Digger" rapper also recently showed his support for Kid Cudi's new album "Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'" while the latter is still feuding with Drake.

Kanye confirmed a collaborative album with Drake back in September. In November, the "One Dance" singer dropped a new hint on the duo's joint project by sharing a black-and-white photo of them. He captioned it, "There goes the neighborhood."
