Angelina Jolie secretly split from Brad Pitt two years before she filed for divorce from him, according to a new report. Angie previously listed the date of their separation as September 15, but the pair's relationship problems reportedly began during the 2014 Academy Awards.
According to a source, Brad and Angie split shortly after a "jealous" argument following the 2014 Oscars. "She behaved so badly that night, trying to steal all the attention from him with her ridiculous leg," the source tells Radar Online, referring to Angie's thigh-high slit gown.
The source continues, "She was so awful to him and his Plan B team that he cut short his own celebration with the '12 Years a Slave' co-stars. She wouldn't let him enjoy the win for even a second."
Angie's bad behavior "marked months of her eye rolling and getting jealous and bored of Brad and Plan B dominating everything in the lead-up to the Oscars," says the source, "They had a massive fight that night and agreed to split."
The pair seemingly worked through their differences and their August 2014 wedding at Chateau Miraval was only a last minute attempt to save their crumbling relationship.
Representatives for Angie and Brad haven't responded to a request for comment.
