This 'Rogue One' Cast Member Has Sequel Option

The 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' actor who might return for future film is the one who received the biggest paycheck in the newly-released movie.

AceShowbiz - One of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" main characters might return for more. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Felicity Jones who plays Rebel fighter Jyn Erso has a sequel option. Although "Rogue One" will not get a follow-up story, there are still several "Star Wars" films planned for future, including a young Luke Skywalker stand-alone story.

Jones is reportedly the highest-paid cast member of "Rogue One". Fresh off her Oscar best actress nomination for "The Theory of Everything", she was able to negotiate for a seven-figure upfront salary. Meanwhile, her co-stars like Diego Luna and Ben Mendelsohn pocketed a significantly lower sum, not even reaching mid-six figures.

"Rogue One" is coming out December 16. Other cast members include Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Riz Ahmed, Forest Whitaker and Alan Tudyk.
