A never-before-heard collaboration of Drake, Aaliyah and the late member of Playa, Static Major has surfaced online. The slow-jam tune, titled "Talk Is Cheap", is one of the songs which was intended to be released as Drake's collaborative album with Aaliyah in 2012.

"Yeah, hey there, help me/ I've been away too long and I know you'd agree/ I'm so tired, but I can't sleep/ My door's open and that don't mean leave/ Know what I mean?" Drake croons. He later raps, "Oh lord, good lord, smoke a little, then record/ You know Papi on the vocals, 40 on the boards/ Call me when you feel inspired, never when you're bored/ And have a real conversation with your f***in' boy/ With the f***in' man, Mr. Lover-Lover-Man."

Aaliyah sings, "Don't let me fool yah/ Boy, you don't know me (oh s**t)/ Suppose I said I want you/ This very moment/ Come here and let me school yah/ This is how it's done/ Boy, you gotta push my buttons/ The ones that turn me on, turn me on/ Turn me on, turn me on/ Turn me on, turn me on/ Turn me on, turn me on."

"Don't rush, but don't wait/ Don't talk 'cause it's gettin' late/ Sit right here, next to me," Static sings, "What's up? Your talk is cheap."

Back in 2012, Drake and Noah "40" Shebib announced plan to release a posthumous collaborative album with Aaliyah using her old demos and unreleased recordings. After releasing a song titled "Enough Said", they ended up cancelling the project following intense backlash from Aaliyah's family and the music industry.

Drake is set to release his forthcoming project "More Life" later this month.
